How The Lord Used Us in March 2020

Greetings!

In March we all entered uncharted territory, but we praise God that He is sovereign and in control. We began the month with MAD Live Events #639 & 640. Then I headed to Daytona Bike Week for the 21st year to share the Gospel with God’s pre-ordained Divine appointments for me. My faithful riding buddy and Board Chairman, Ron, did not come this year. Instead, he traveled to Kenya to teach pastors, but my TN riding buddy, Larry, met me in Daytona for the week of ministry. We had one of the best years ever in Daytona, with many Divine appointments. On my first day there, God allowed me to share the Gospel and pray with 15 people! That was a new record for me. They will be an encouragement to you I am sure. On Friday of Bike Week, the city of Daytona revoked all of the permits for the last day of Bike Week, so it ended a day early. That was a real disappointment because that is normally the busiest day of the week long event. So we packed up and headed home first thing Saturday morning.

We had couple of more events scheduled for this month, but with the pandemic, they were cancelled. As you’ll see from the schedule below, we have very few events booked over the next 3 months, but we have no idea whether they will happen or not. It’s all in God’s hands.

This was an amazing testimony that was forwarded to me by the staff at “106.9 The Light”, Billy Graham’s radio station. This lady attended the MAD Live Event I did in partnership with them several months ago. Isn’t God good? Enjoy!

"I just want to share with you what has happened in my life because of God and your gift of hosting the MAD conference last Saturday. My husband & I attended the conference and I was prepared to leave after only a hour or two because my husband was not into it but was gracious enough to allow me to attend, but Don Sunshine really broke through to my husband. My husband has always thought to be a real man that you couldn't 100% follow God because being a man you had to be tough, cuss and rude to people or you wouldn't be respected as a man. But there on the stage stood Don Sunshine whom like my husband is in the law enforcement field sharing his love and devotion for God and I got to stay for the whole thing, in fact we were close to the last ones to leave. I silently thanked God all the way home for what had happened and prayed that it would sink all the way in for my husband and it did. Sunday I went to church and my husband did too and he was up greeting and taking part in the church, so much so that everyone was noticed and kept coming up to me asking me if my husband was alright. I shared with them about the MAD conference and how great God is. Today is Thursday and the transformation still continues. I am so very blessed. Thank you for all you do...Kim”

IMPORTANT

The photo at the bottom is a picture of over 600 Evaluation Forms that were given to me at our MAD Live Events. On each of these forms is the name of at least one pastor. Some forms have 3-4 pastors’ names and numbers on them. I have called every pastor on these forms at least one time, and some many times. The forms are still in this pile because none of these men have called me back. I can’t get booked to teach in a church without having at least one conversation with the pastor. This is disappointing and VERY discouraging! Last year we were blessed with the most Live Events we have ever done in a year (55). This year, prior to the pandemic, we only had 19 events booked through July and nothing beyond that. So, we are in serious need of your help. Everyone can pray with us about this, and we would ask you to join us in this. Also, if you know church leadership and can help us get conversations with leaders and actual bookings, we would greatly appreciate any and all help that you can provide! We know God is sovereign, and Cathy and I continue to live by faith. At the same time, we need to do our part and continue to make calls and contacts. Would you please help us?

We are a faith-based ministry and rely on our regular monthly supporters AND the love offerings that we get at our MAD Live Events to be able to serve Christ full time vocationally. Our regular monthly support is at 60%. With so few Live Events on the calendar, and the cancelling of many of these due to the pandemic, we don’t have the 40% coming in, and we’re unsure when we will be getting our next love offering. In addition, if the pandemic affects any of our regular monthly supporters, and they can’t continue to give, we are not sure what will happen to us and the ministry. The bottom line is we need your prayers and if possible, your financial support! Please be in prayer as to how you may help.

2020 ULTIMATE ADVENTURE TRIP TO UTAH CANCELLED

Early in March it became apparent that we did not have enough people to be able to hold our trip to Utah this summer. So we had to cancel the trip. Although I am disappointed, because I missed last year’s trip due to the coronary artery event, we hope to be able to host one next year. Please keep this in mind and let me know if you’re interested in the trip in 2021. We’ll begin taking refundable deposits for next year’s trip beginning this summer.
